That person is unemployed who has the ability to do work and is willing to do work but is unable to get job opportunities. In the current situation, more than 30 lakh people are unemployed in Pakistan and the unemployment ratio is more than 12%.
[2/5, 4:04 PM] Rehan Bashir: Due to increasing amount of unemployment many crime takes place, Pakistan has a lot of natural resources but poor governance is a hurdle. We can’t use them with full potential. We can find many educated people for example doctors, engineers and graduates wandering around for jobs. But couldn’t find a job worth their education. The slow economy is perhaps the greatest cause of unemployment. Because of sluggish industrial growth, there are not many large factories and industrial centres where labourers, skilled workers and fresh graduates can get employed. People have degrees but find no assistance. Moreover, they indulge in adulteration and other social evils. Present government should enhance opportunities for employment. Science, technology and computer can play best role for creating chances of promotion of work.
